EARTHQUAKE-RESISTANT STRUCTURES

We are one of the five European manufacturers certified to manufacture and sell earthquake-resistant structures.

Base isolation refers to a system with the necessary characteristics to achieve base isolation, according to standardEN 15129:2011. In other words, the capacity to support the structure’s own weight loads, as well as the capacity to respond to lateral movement caused by an earthquake.

Base isolation also enables energy dissipation and contributes to the re-centering capacity of the base isolation system.
